Place your bouquet in a cool location away from direct sunlight, heating or cooling vents, drafts, ceiling fans, televisions, or radiators. Check the water level daily and keep the vase filled with fresh, clean water. Change the water every 2–3 days and trim stems with a sharp fresh cut to help extend the life of your flowers.

I always send flowers to my nieces on my late sister's birthday. Because they have a houseful of cats, some of which are not very bright, I always specify to please use flowers that will not be toxic if the cats nibble on them. Stephanie went out of her way to call and tell me that she would be substituting a number of varieties of flowers in the arrangement to look out for the fur children. It was beautiful, and my nieces loved it and the care that went into its creation. Thank you all!
